--- Begin Message ---Package: pbuilder Version: 0.215+nmu3 Severity: normal Dear maintainer, currently pbuilder use hardlinks to use the apt cache inside the pbuilder chroots. This is not possibile if you keep /var/cache/pbuilder in a different device than the one you keep your apt cache (a sane example: you can keep /var/cache/pbuilder in tmpfs to speed up things). In this case you have to use APTCACHEHARDLINK=no, and pbuilder fall backs to normal cp. a full copy of the entire apt cache, which is something slow if you have a big (huge) cache, other than a waste of space. I didn't get why you use hard links instead of symlinks, so I'm asking you either to explain the choice or to move to symlink.
