Hi!

As recently announce by Joerg [1], the checksums will no longer be generated
in MD5 and SHA1, only SHA256. Furthermore, InRelease and Release will no longer
be provided as gzip-compressed files but as xz-compressed files only.

This change has already been implemented in the archive with the result that
mirroring the experimental suite is no longer possible using debmirror.

Cheers,
Adrian

I just fixed this today, including testing that mirroring experimental
works again.

debmirror (1:2.21) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Generate trace file using LC_ALL=C (closes: #817721).
  * Prefer xz over gz, and cope with either being missing as long as we can
get some version of the index file in question.
  * Use check_lists to check Translation files rather than a similar custom
function; this allows use of stronger hashes.
