1. Put a DVD in the drive.
2. Run totem-xine.
3. Click on the "Movie" menu. There is an item labeled "Play Disc
'CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive'."
4. Close the menu.
5. Open it again. The "Play Disc 'CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive'" item has
disappeared.

The Xine backend has been removed upstream so this bug report is now
obsolete. I'm therefor closing it.
If you still encounter the issue with a recent version (using the
GStreamer backend), file a new bug report please.
