multi-build fixes from Andres Solomon. I'm recording them here in the
BTS so I don't forget about them. I'll try to apply soonish.

Thanks Andres!

I've made my arch repository public:
http://sloth.voxel.net/~dilinger/arch/2003

The cdbs fixes I mentioned last night, dealing w/ multiple build
directories, as well as any additional fixes, are located in

[EMAIL PROTECTED]/debian--cdbs--0

Note that for patch-3, that's one of two alternative solutions; the
other is to make makefile.mk smart enough that when autotools-vars.mk
includes it, and where there's multiple build directories, automatically
run make on each DEB_BUILDDIR_$pkg (skipping over $DEB_BUILDDIR).

I'm going to sleep; I've not yet got php4 completely working yet, so I
may be doing more arch commits tomorrow.
