If I open two or more videos in different tabs in Epiphany, only one will start
playing. Even if I stop the one playing, the other won't play until I close the
tab where the first one was.
Note that my X display has only one xv port.

If your display can only handle one xv port, configure mplayer to fall back to
some other display mode.
