Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.11-6

Applications that depend on libasound2 now run rather than crash, as they did
with 1.0.11-5, but with no sound. The last few lines of output from running
alsamixer are:

Running update-modules...
Loading driver...
Setting default volumes...
ALSA lib control.c:816:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default
amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such file or directory

and with alsactl

darkstar:~# alsactl store
ALSA lib control.c:816:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL hw:0
alsactl: get_controls:456: snd_ctl_open error: No such file or directory

I'm downgrading to 1.0.11-3 again.

alsa-lib (1.0.11-7) unstable; urgency=low

  * Introduced --datadir=\$${prefix}/share in debian/rules. Otherwise soundapps
    are looking in $BUILDDIR/${prefix}/share.

Thx
