Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.11-6
Severity: Important
Justification: No sound with ALSA system

Hi.

I'm Ramiro Cano.

I just upgraded libasound2 into 1.0.11-6 with the last dist-upgrade.
Now, when I attempt to use any application through ALSA plugin, it
doesn't sound.

alsaconf runs correctly and the modules load correctly too.

But when I try to open alsamixer I get this output:

blingdenstone:/home/master# alsamixer
ALSA lib control.c:816:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default

alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such file or
directory

I have no idea about what causes this bug. If I can provide any further
information in order to fix this, just let me know.

Thanks a lot for your work and time.

Regards,

Ramiro Cano.
