Package: i3status
Version: 2.13-3
Severity: normal

i3status recommends dzen2/i3-wm/xmobar.

Please don't do that: Package relations are directional, and really it
is the bar consumer that should recommend a feeding message producer.

Instead, it is sensible for i3status to offer itself to these producers
by declaring Enhances - as is already done for those same 3 tools.
Related: i3status also enhances package sway (for application sway-bar).

kind regards,

 - Jonas
