Package: gtk-gnutella
Version: 0.92.beta2-1
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

The tear-off traffic panel is extremely useful. There's one thing I would
like to see added to it. I know it doesnt have to do with how much traffic
you're pumping, but it's an incredibly useful statistic to have available to
you without having to re-open and check on the main gtk-gnutella window
constantly.

I would like to know the total number of new search results across all
searches... Something like "137/4412 new matches" on the tearoff would be
incredibly useful - the first number being the number of new matches since
the last time you looked at them (like the tabs do when the search section is
open), the latter being the number of total search results, both across all
currently active searches.

That's how I'd do it anyway. I hope you do something similar sometime
soon, it'll save me flipping back to gnutella every few minutes when I'm
looking for something specific. :)

I love gtk-gnutella, especially since the multiplexed downloads and stuff
have come in. It's a dream. Thanks for all the hard work it must have taken
to get it to this point!

 - Tyler
