Package: gnome-pim
Version: 1.0.55-2
Severity: normal
Way to reproduce:
1) Open gnomecard
Gnomecard opens <file.vcf> (see window title)
2) File->New
The menu item File->Save now is greyed out.
3) Add a record
The menu item File->Save is no longer greyed out.
4) File->Save
Gnomecard overwrites <file.vcf> with the single record. If it were
not for the backup files, the information would have been irreversably
lost.

The gnome-pim package has been removed from Debian. The reason is that it
is "old, obsolete, unmaintained upstream, and doesn't work properly. Better
alternatives (Evolution, Contacts, ...) are available in Debian."
