Package: gnome-settings-daemon
Version: 2.30.2-3
Severity: normal
Hi,
First thing I did after the crash was to check ~/.xsession-errors, where was
mentioned to send a bug report. So I decided to do that. It has happened for
the first time since I installed the system.
It happened while iceweasel was starting and I pressed the system button in the
gnome menu. That is all what I can say at the moment unfortunatelly except the
log from ~/.xsession-errors. Here you go:
The program 'gnome-settings-daemon' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 3667 error_code 8 request_code 15 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Thank you very much for all your effort to resolve this issue. ;)
