I have just installed this package. Opening the prefs window, it reports that it cannot find GnuPG, but this one is installed. Works perfectly after I have explicitely given the path to /usr/bin/gpg.
I cannot reproduce this problem. Could you please create a new profile in icedove and check whether enigmail detects the path to gpg there itself?
