Impossible! Moneyplex cannot work when the card reader isn't ready.
So upgrading to SP03 should fix this bug.
Sorry, I just had a look to the sources of both SP02-1 (from Debian) and
SP03 (from the manufacturer Reiner-SCT). In ifd.cpp the lines 107 to 140
are identical! So upgrading has no effect concerning this bug; I already
reported this to you after my experiments with both versions on a
special alternating hard disk, separately from my normal operating
systems (Squeeze and Wheezy).
In http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=664630#50 I see a
trace of the driver working correctly.
The card ATR is returned so every thing is working at the PC/SC level.
If you still have a problem then please generate a full pcscd trace.
