In that case maybe you should close it for a while? Would it be possible to
reopen it later?
I'll try to reinstall my host OS and see how it goes...
Besides I am waiting till Fedora 17 gets into final state (might take another
month) which I am planning to install in parallel on my host. I know that it
is not the most stable choice but at least I'll get a chance to test it on
some bleeding edge... :-)
Basically I just want to see if it is somehow related to my hardware since I
am running stock Debian Testing kernel I doubt that there is any issue there
(kernel)...

I'll be playing with it anyway so if I find anything "funny" I'll reported it
to you immediately. Just in case I am attaching my lshw output... I don't know
but maybe useful for some further investigation...

And one more thing to make this matter even more confusing :-)
When I am running "-soundhw hda" my average file transfer does not exceed 300
MB as I have previously reported only once I've managed to get 1.6 GB out of
it.
But when I removed "-soundhw" out of command I've managed to fully complete 4
GB transfer in 2 attempts out of 5...
Also I have just found out that it is not only the "client" but also the
"server" that might drop the network. But only one of them! I've never seen
them doing it simultaneously. Even if it fails the average file size
transferred through increased to almost 3 GB...

I know that I am not much of a help. But I'll try to give you as much data as
possible.
Once again thank you for your help and support :-)
