I was able to reproduce the bug: on the server: net usershare add test /home/test/ on the client: smbclient //server/test (keep the connection open) on the server: net usershare delete test At this point, the share is no longer available for new connections, but existing connection remains open (and can still read files). net usershare delete should probably stop all existing connections to the share that is deleted.
