Since it's been announced that wheezy will be frozen by the end of
June, I'm wondering what will be the fate of dovecot in wheezy.
The rate of bug reports on the dovecot mailing list has slowed down
considerably.
2.1.7 has just been released and it's looking like it has reached a
pretty mature state. Can we have that in before the freeze?
Please? :-)
I am just sitting down to work on dovecot as we speak. I agree that
2.1.7 is probably what we want for wheezy so I'll try and get an
upload into unstable today. Then hopefully a month or so will be
enough time to shake any remaining packaging problems out.
Wonderful. I think I'll go through some of the outstanding bugs and see
if there is anything I can do to help, I have a feeling some are quite
closeable.
