Package: libept1.4.12
Version: 1.0.7
Severity: outstanding

Dear Maintainer,

updating libept1.4.12 from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7 breaks aptitude : after this
upgrade, any aptitude command yields

aptitude: error while loading shared libraries: libept.so.1.0.5.4.12:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

and indeed no /usr/lib/libept.so.1.0.5.4.12 file is present ; one finds
instead only /usr/lib/libept.so.1.0.7.4.12 in /usr/lib/

I don't know if the problem comes from the aptitude package or from the
ibept1.4.12 package, but :
Reverting the libept1.4.12 package to 1.0.6 solves the problem (e.g. by
downloading libept1.4.12_1.0.6.1_amd64.deb and installing it through dpkg
-i).

Best,

Ara Keary
