Which, honestly, doesn't matter. Either he wants to support current LOs or not.
If we wants he needs to port it or get it ported.

As said: that there's a python-uno still is a service from Debian (needed to 
make
the transition relatively smooth inside Debian), in a plain upstream LO you have
*only* python 3.3.

Yeah, if nothing's using it anymore that's probably the best way. (I always 
hated
the module name, too :))
