Package: global Version: 5.7.1-2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
GNU Global is very good source code tagging system. But current Debian package is too old and even upstream recommends users not selecting Debian's package. Due to personal need, I re-packaged the latest version of global. The respective dsc file can be found at: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/g/global/global_6.2.8-1.dsc I hope you can help review the new package. If possible, I also would like to invite you as a sponsor for that. Thank you.
