Package: geeqie-common Version: 1:1.1-7 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Hello, I think that geeqie should preserve the mtime stamp of images, when rotating them. It should do that by passing the -p option to the exiftran invocation in /usr/share/geeqie/applications/rotate-270.desktop /usr/share/geeqie/applications/rotate-90.desktop
The attached patch should achieve this result. Please note that this feature request of mine is similar, but not exactly identical to bug #317765, which requests to preserve ctime (assuming that ctime is really what the original bug report submitter wanted to preserve...) Please apply this patch and possibly also forward it upstream. Thanks for your time.
