Dear Maintainer, I am re-opening this bug, since it's not fixed in 0.8.0 you uploaded. Parts editor is still not working.
To reproduce bug: 1) Start Fritzing 2) Right click on arbitrary part (I clicked on resistor) 3) Select "Edit part" 4) You will see error This does not happen with tarballs provided by up-stream. I can't explain what to do to fix it, but important feature of software is not working in Debian packages, as compared to up-stream. Kind regards, Mateusz Kaduk
