Thanks for looking at this old bug. Yes, fine by me to close the bug. Perhaps 
my main problem as an inexperienced user was just discovering which package 
should generate the files (i.e. it was less obvious for /etc/initramfs-
tools/conf.d/resume). Maybe this discussion will help others in the same 
situation.
