Are you suggesting that an issue should be raised for gtk? I don't really understand the details, so I'm hoping you will create the issue report :-) I will say that I haven't noticed any defect from this issue -- e.g. it doesn't crash or do anything noticably wrong. But failed assertions make me uneasy ... might be doing something wrong that I don't notice ... Thanks, -Steve
