Correction: mumble will work when built against protobuf 2.5.0-7 ; someone
reported this to me and it took me a while but I was able to verify it --
apparently I had some complications with cowbuilder I didn't know I had. My
apologies for being in error on this.

Is there a way to get Debian's buildd's to rebuild the package?

BTW I believe this is a situation where the ABI changed between protobuf
2.5.0-5 and -7 but the name (i.e. the number in the name) of the library
should have changed to trigger the Debian buildd's to rebuild the package. At
least that's the way I interpret the text in Debian Policy section 8.1.

Thanks.
