Ross, I have a complete 0.7.1 debian package (see Kid mailing list for details). One unit test fails (Kid Bug #92). Upstream knows about it.
Are you interested in the work I have done? If so, how would you like me to get the work I've done to you? Post to this wishlist report? I've made some heavy modifications, like changing the package name to python-kid, so I'm sure there will need to be some work done to make sure conflicts/obsoletes/provides, etc are "right" if you decide to accept my work. For your reference, I'm working the complete tool chain to get TurboGears debianized, to that goal, this package may not be as polished as it should be and some of the draconian measure (like dropping puthon 2.3 support) may not sit well with you.
