You have to differ between wrong packaging and missfunctions inside the software. I read your bug report as "The packaging is broken." Goggling will prove that easilly. No, it's a work in progress and that's why we start right now to upload 30.0~b1 to unstable. We haven't got the time to this with 28.0~b1 oder 29.0~b1. We need unstable to get most of the testing people. There are more Mozilla extension that need a deeper testing before they could go down to testing or later to stable-security, like Enigmail for example. Don't blame us, the warnings are everythere to read about the side effects that unstable brings. And there is a *big* info on the Github site ... "NO LONGER MAINTAINED..."
