Package: abtransfers Version: 0.0.4.1-2 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
abTransfers does not appear in the KDE menu after installing the abtransfers package (it should be below Applications/Office, but there is no entry there). This is strange, as the file /usr/share/menu/abtransfers exists and seems to be correct. Manual execution of update-menus does not fix the problem, too. The problem is not user specific. It happens with the old and the new KDE menu (no other Desktop enviroment installed or tested). I am not sure, if it is a probem in the abtransfers package, as the menu file looks correct to me. I have no experience with Debian menu files, but I checked http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/menu.html/ and the files seems to be valid. Anyway, I wanted to report it against abtransfers, because it should be so easy to check on another installation, if the menu exists in another Desktop environment and KDE. The other obvious possible culprits, KDE and Debian's menu system, can be analyzed afterwards if needed.
