Unfortunately there is nothing significant to see here.
Maybe the binary 'icedove' or someone else is corrupted. Can you ples
check the installation with debsums?

  $ debsums icedove

You have probably to install the package 'debsums' first!

If the output isn't allway 'ok' then please reinstall the icedove
package. Please remove the old package from the local apt cache

 $ sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/icedove_*.deb
 $ sudo apt-get update
 $ sudo apt-get install --reinstall icedove

Is there any output on the console if you try to run that comman line?
Maybe again Mozilla has changed variables here.

And have you tried to backup your current profile and start with a fresh
profile if this all doesn't work?
