Right. Sorry, the mulittarget statement seems to work. I meant the very last line of the Arch Linux comment thread, which pointed to adding files to /usr/lib/systemd/ntp-units.d/ which in our case would be /usr/lib/systemd/ntp-units.d/openntpd.list This seems to have been implement in: ( https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/i686/openntpd/ ) I'm attaching both Arch Linux files for your convenience: usr/lib/systemd/ntp-units.d/openntpd.list usr/lib/systemd/system/openntpd.service I'm not sure of how significantly different their implementation of the service file is.
