IIRC that was not the point of the bug report.
It was about which xulrunner version is the _first_ (or even worse,
the sole) alternative and I refused (and still refuse) to use a
specific version just because some downstream distribution has a
specific preference.

Yeah, but the conkeror package is not only installable on Debian or
supported Debian releases. So unless there are signs that it doesn't
work anymore with some specific xulrunner version, I intend keep these
alternative dependencies.
