Honestly, I don't know. After all, they are just archive file formats and could be used in versatile ways. The pk3 format, for example, is just a ZIP file and is often used for ZDoom mods, and ECWolf reportedly has imported a lot of features from ZDoom. It will be best to just have a look inside the ECWolf source code and see what it does with these two files. - Fabian
