I upgraded my local version of the texture tools. The git Version has some serious bugs right now. The included test suite fails with lots of segfaults if it runs at all. Also the current version according to the version file is 2.1.0 but there is no such tag in the repo. This will probably require some additional patches to get it working on even the supported platforms.
