Well, I am sorry to not have done this before jessie release. But I think I'll provide a backport for the package because I enjoy using it. I'll keep this bugreport open for now, maybe it should get documented more clearly that people are expected to add the actual message after the editor fired up and not implicitly expecting people to do it, but that's something for upstream I assume.
