Anyway, if you don't want to add ip=off at boot time, you can also replace /usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/init-premount/dropbear by our version from the git HEAD: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/dropbear.git/tree/debian/initramfs/premount-dropbear -- Guilhem.
