Hi, This was already solved in version 1.62 released on 27 Apr 2015 that will be included in Stretch; so what you actually request is a backport of this little tweak to stable.

I would have said "minor" or "normal" like in my bug #752504 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=752504 > popularity-contest explictly Recommends cron | fcron and Suggests anacron. > > It should instead: > > Recommends: cron | cron-daemon > Suggests: anacron | systemd-cron This "Suggests:" is extraneous, systemd-cron also provides "anacron" virtual package for other packages that depends on "cron | cron-daemon | anacron" like exim4-base; because they only need some daily/weekly/monthly processing and doesn't use crontabs but /etc/cron.{daily|weekly|monthly}/ instead.
