the binwalk binary package currently ships the main binwalk script and the Python modules for Python 2. It would be nice if you could also provide it for Python 3 as a separate package, so that it can be used in custom Python 3 scripts. (Or alternatively, as the goal is to move to Python 3 anyway, ship the Python 3 modules in the binwalk binary package.) According to the upstream website, Python 3 is supported.
