Package: src:linux
Version: 4.5.1-1 AND 4.3.5-1
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system
System type: Lenovo X230
Distro: Debian Testing

I was using kernel 4.3.5-1 because neither kernel 4.4 nor 4.5 booted
normally. (See bug 819597). Between May 2 and May 4 I Upon updating the
following packages

Upon rebooting on May 5 kernel 4.3 threw a kernel panic and did not boot.

Attempting to boot into kernel 4.5.1-1 also resulted in kernel panic at boot

Booting in recovery with kernel 4.5 results in identical kernel panic.

The only way to boot was kernel 4.3 recovery. I salvaged the EFI dumps from
the boot fails - they are appended here:

A is txt and B is binary. Both were from a failed 4.5 boot.
