My fault. I didn’t restart the server after updating. The activity symbol supersedes the bell symbol also in Debian stable. I upgraded to version 2.3~git20160506-1 and have again only one symbol. A downgrade to version 1.9-6 gave me again both symbols. (I couldn’t check for version 2.1 since the deb file is no longer on the server.) I have no idea what is going on … Best, Marcel
