Okay, thanks for looking into this. I found another machine running testing, but I cannot reproduce it there either, so I guess it has something to do with my setup (or other installed packages?). It even happens on my system when I install python-requests from stable, no matter which URL I use. I'll try again in a chroot also and report back to you, could be cross-package related (or misconfiguration on my part…) Cheers, Roland
