Package: diffutils-doc Version: 1:3.3-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I installed diffutils-doc because I saw that one of its tags was `made-of::info'. However, I got confused as the description only mentions the HTML format (which is also a tag). $ aptitude show diffutils-doc Package: diffutils-doc State: installed Automatically installed: no Version: 1:3.3-1 Priority: optional Section: doc Maintainer: Santiago Vila <sanv...@debian.org> Architecture: all Uncompressed Size: 750 k Description: Documentation for GNU diffutils in HTML format This package contains the HTML documentation for GNU diffutils. Homepage: http://www.gnu.org/software/diffutils/ Tags: made-of::html, made-of::info, role::documentation, suite::gnu I queried dpkg to find that $ dpkg -S diffutils.info.gz diffutils: /usr/share/info/diffutils.info.gz the Info files are supplied with diffutils itself. Could you remove the made-of::info tag from diffutils-doc? -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) -- no debconf information -- Udyant Wig
