Since the removal of fpc on powerpc more than one month ago, no-one has
been able to come up with a fix to have fpc install and build again on
powerpc. Infinity knows where the issue² is since he looked at it during
the fpc BOF at DebConf, but he hasn't come up with a patch (priorities)
and so far hasn't shared his insights, albeit multiple requests. Others
that have time to work on this issue don't have the required skills
(including me).

I believe it is time to acknowledge that no solution will come soon and
therefor I request removal of all reverse dependencies of fpc on
powerpc. If they are removed now, fpc and it's reverse dependent
packages can develop again for stretch, now they are blocked by powerpc.
It would be a shame if all of the fpc stack stays out of stretch "just"
because of powerpc. If the issue is fixed in time for stretch, the
packages will be build again and migrate at the time.
