yes this is a bug :( I didn't realize it when I packaged rawtherapee as my screen is rather big and I thought "not pretty but usable" - well it's not as it seems. It's already handled upstream and I hope there will be a fixed version soon: https://github.com/Beep6581/RawTherapee/issues/3446 If I find time I'll switch back to GTK2 until it's fixed but I can not promise I'll find the time for doing it.
