Hello, I'm one of the uploader for trafficserver package. --enable-linux-aio build option has not been removed from 7.0.0. Instead, it's been decided to rename it.
I use trafficserver with Linux AIO without any issues for 3 years now. Enabling it actually improved performance a bit. But, since the feature future isn't clear, I'll consider removing the option in 7.0.0 package. Regards, Jean Baptiste Favre
