I've taken a look at the diff of your fork. I'm about to be out of town and away from my development box for the next two weeks in about 8 hours so I can't do anything at this time... I'll let the NMU go through and then pull your commit hash 96eb8e628c8e87200a208281e569523c8fb77bf8 in and prepare a 1.0.6-5 build to accept it.
