From 231-9 to 232-3 2016-11-20 systemd:amd64 (231-9, 232-3) > Were other parts of the system upgraded as well, like for example libkmod2 No. But libkmod was held on 22-1, because debian libkmod does not support compressed modules. Upgrading to (a modified) 23-1 did solve the problem. There seems to be some incompatibility between 22-1 and 23-1 that is not reflected in the libraries major-number. > > systemd[1]: systemd-modules-load.service: Main process exited, > > code=exited, status=1/FAILURE > > systemd[1]: Failed to start Load Kernel Modules. > > systemd[1]: systemd-modules-load.service: Unit entered failed state. > > systemd[1]: systemd-modules-load.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'. > > > > systemd-modules-load uses libkmod2 to load the kernel modules. > > src/modules-load/modules-load.c did not really change between v231 and v232 Sorry for the inconvinience bmg -- „Des is völlig wurscht, was heut beschlos- | M G Berberich sen wird: I bin sowieso dagegn!“ | m...@m-berberich.de (SPD-Stadtrat Kurt Schindler; Regensburg) |
