I'm unable to reproduce this issue. The pom file build/debian/easybind.pom should be generated automatically, this feature was added to gradle-debian-helper 1.4.
Santiago could you post the full build log please? I'd like to check the versions of gradle and gradle-debian-helper used. Thank you, Emmanuel Bourg
