[ note that I am *not* myspell-et's maintainer, but myspell-de-*'s which also is buiolt from ispell, but with upstreams Makefile. Which is apparently what Björn does also for the de_DE* stuff for the zips ]
Hi, most packages in Debian do build directly from the ispell stuff and work. Thast estonian doesn't is bad but... The point is that building them from ispell directly is better maintainance-wise because you then get fixes for ispell immediately for the myspell one, too. Not to mention that strictly speaking the zips content is "binary" and the ispell stuff is the source so it makes sense to build it from the source it comes. That this in this case might be buggy is a problem, yes, but you comment implies that everyone should take the binaries which is not desirable. Anyway, myspell-et uses a script specific for french for the wordlist conversion and ispellaff2myspell for the affix one (which Ain tells me is broken). It might make more sense to fix ispellaff2myspell. Regards, Rene BTW: Read the bug severities. Your bug severity was broken. If the dictionary is useless, the bug is "grave", not normal... -- .''`.
