Yes, the upstream developers are known to be looking over also the debian bug tracker as well (although rarely interacting with it, only reading it and fixing things upstream). I've slept on it and felt that not including the github issue tracker was what I was leaning towards, and with your followup mail on this I'm even more convinced. Thus will add the upstream metadata as previously proposed once the stretch freeze is over and consider this closed. Regards, Andreas Henriksson
