The software project includes fonts without license. The "base 14" fonts below lib/matplotlib/mpl-data/fonts/pdfcorefonts includes a seemingly non-authoritative liense grant which is omitted from debian/copyright. Some of the fonts below lib/matplotlib/mpl-data/fonts/afm also by Adobe lack license as well - also already documented in debian/copyright. The fonts lib/matplotlib/mpl-data/fonts/ttf/c*ttf do not include license - they seem to be BaKoMa which some sources mention as "free" while e.g. http://www.math.utah.edu/~beebe/fonts/bakoma.html describe them as free only for non-commercial use. - Jonas
