I have not noticed bug #790168[1] until today, and I think it is time to remove the package. evilvte was one of the first terminal emulators to support libvte-2.90, and could support gtk2/gtk3 via dlopen trick. I still use evilvte as my daily terminal emulator, but I have no plan to support libvte-2.91 and newer version of gtk3. evilvte uses build-time configuration, so remove the pre-built package will not harm those users of evilvte. :-P Kind regards Wen-Yen Chuang (caleb) [1] bug #790168: gnome team plan to remove gtk2-based libvte9
